Finally, the fifth entry to my doodle meme (that is still open for commissions)! This one was asked by ~SChanXx0.
She asked me to draw a group shot of Team Asuma, "in sense of pairing, or at least in sense of close relationship". Hope this is close enough.
It took most time from me to think of their poses. I wanted to portray them as great friends, so why not to make them help each others. I quickly got idea about Chouji carrying Ino on his shoulders. Initially, I planned to make Ino and Shikamaru to slap their hands on each others' ones, but then I thought it would make Chouji to be out of the group. So, instead, I made Shikamaru to offer potato chips to Chouji and Ino to set a flower wreath on Shikamaru's head.
Quite rushed one, but I like this one greatly! Especially for the poses!

E. By the way, it was fun to draw husky people for a long time. Thinking of how the mass is built on him were interesting.

I like how Shikamaru's looking to the left opens up the composition, but I wonder . . . would looking at Chouji and Ino make them more like one unit? Shika's kind of the odd one out with his open eyes, and he's looking away from his friends, too.
